奈良国立博物館
Ranging over four buildings with wheelchair access, this museum holds treasures from the Nara period (710 to 784 AD), plus Buddhist and decorative art from around Japan with explanations in English. In the garden, you can see the Edo period Hassoan Teahouse, one of the three famous teahouses of the Nara region. The basement shop has a good range of items inspired by the exhibitions and there is a spacious cafe with an outdoor terrace, offering light meals.
