Visit Nara

The Yamamoto family have been making persimmon wine and sake here since 1720. While you can’t visit the factory, the shop front is in an attractive traditional Edo period building. Mr Yamamoto doesn’t speak English, but he is welcoming and knowledgeable about the history of the area.
